Artwork

--> How a BC is formed
  1. The artwork process begins with the customer sending his artwork using the Pelliconi template (as pictured below) along with the .eps file if available.
  2. It is vital that the customer provides the pantone reference color codes (PMS) otherwise the artwork cannot be completed.

3.  Upon receipt of the customer's pdf, the internal sales coordinator at Pelliconi will request a Bozza Carta, or a BC (paper draft in english). Below is a view of the modulo request form (modulo richiesta bozza).

4. Highlighted in green are the areas in which the ISC must populate.

  • Description and File name: ie. Brew Hut
  • Type of crown: typically 26mm
  • Metal used: TFS or Tin Plate (BS)
  • Bottom (fondo in italian): Only one selection to be made
  • Are the inks applied on plain metal? If so just plain metal
  • Alluminized will yield a slightly shinier appearance
  • White primer if needed
  • Colored varnish typically gold
  • Descriptive note: the ISC must list the PMS colors here
  • Crown: select the correct box for the ink application
  • Grezza: the top of the crown only in ink, entire skirt substrate
  • Semigrezza: top of of the crown in ink, semi skirt substrate
  • Full: the entire crown is covered in ink
  • Color tonality refers only to gold and silver
  • Colors: finally list the full count of colors
  • Priority: this field always remains "as soon as possible"
  • The date: the date that the BC is requested.
5. Finally, the ISC will save this file, a new BC number in the upper left hand corner is generated and the file is sent to the art department in Italy.

6. Sara Campli and Valentino Gentilezza emit the BC.

7. The BC is sent via email to the ISM at Gamer.

8. The importance of having the necessary information to complete the request is visible through these steps.
